MENNEKES NEMA 4X HDI Motor Disconnects are available 25 Amp to 100 Amp and rated up to 50hp @ 480Vac. Units feature built-in auxiliary contacts and are UL Listed "Suitable as Motor Disconnect" per NEC Article 430 Requirements for a separate disconnect means within site of all motor loads.

Several enclosure sizes and handle positions maximize installation and design options. MENNEKES HDI Motor Disconnects are rated NEMA 4X; 12 and utilize Valox® material to withstand the toughest industrial environments. Rugged but compact in size, units are ideally suited for installation on branch motor circuits as a load rated lock-out device.

• NEMA 4X Enclosure with Poured-ln Gasket - Impact modified material is resistant to caustic wash-down solutions in a broad temperature range. Seamless poured-in-place gasket provides watertight seal against high-pressure wash down systems typically used in plant applications.
• Padlockable Handle - High visibility design clearly indicates ON-OFF status. Handle size allows for operation with gloved hand. Padlock capability assists with OSHA LO/TO compliance and can accommodate oversized hasp and lock shackle.
• Enclosure Alternatives - Two enclosure sizes available - MS1A enclosure has a compact footprint and fits up to a 20hp switch block. MS2A enclosure provides extra wiring space with low ampere switch blocks; standard offering for 80A and 100A models. Alternate handle positions allow for factory or field installation of selector switches or other control devices.
• Hinged Cover Options - Often requested to facilitate installation and maintenance. Flexible non-metallic strap with stainless hardware available on MS1A models. Hidden Hinge System, an exclusive Mennekes design, is offered on MS2A enclosures.
• Auxiliary Contacts - Provided standard, the contacts feature early break and late make switching for PLC, VFD and starter interface. Additional contact blocks can be factory or field installed depending upon wiring requirements. Sized 1 N/O; 1 N/C.
