Enclosure Definitions:

NEMA 3R - Enclosures are intended for outdoor use to provide protection against windblown dust and rain; undamaged by the formation of ice.

NEMA 4X - Enclosures are intended for indoor or outdoor use to provide protection against windblown dust and rain, splashing and hose-directed water; undamaged by the formation of ice.

NEMA 12 - Enclosures are intended for indoor use to protect against dust, spraying of water, oil and non-corrosive coolant.
